Pine Siskins in S FRED Co

Since they had been reported from the hawk watch site
at WASH MON SP within the last 10 days, i had been on
the lookout for them at the thistle feeders.  Sure
enough, two showed up over the weekend.  Females only,
if a total lack of yellow markings is diagnostic of
females.  The beak and size was correct, so that's my
working assumption, but i would welcome any contrary
views...

Otherwise nothing other than the normal birds:
W crowned & throated Sp
Goldfinches
H Sp
Chickadees
Blue Jays (common - hurray!)
H Finches
RB Nuthatch (NOT SEEN, but probably still around)

Hummer feeder remains up, but NOT visited to my
knowledge :(
