Home today with a cold -- good excuse to watch birds in the 
yard!  Highlights so far today: GOLDEN-CROWNED KINGLET,
PURPLE FINCH (male & female), and COOPER'S HAWK.  Full list:

COOPER'S HAWK
Mourning Dove
Red-bellied Woodpecker
Downy Woodpecker
Hairy Woodpecker
Blue Jay
American Crow
Carolina Chickadee
Tufted Titmouse
White-breasted Nuthatch
Carolina Wren
GOLDEN-CROWNED KINGLET
Northern Mockingbird
White-throated Sparrow
Dark-eyed Junco
Northern Cardinal
PURPLE FINCH
House Finch
American Goldfinch
House Sparrow

Not seen today, but seen here more than once within the past 
few days: Northern Flicker, Ruby-crowned Kinglet, 
Red-breasted Nuthatch, Song Sparrow.  Also saw a female 
Eastern Towhee a few days ago.
