When walking down Belair Rd. in Baltimore this morning I saw a thrush that
had probably collided with a window and was killed. It was small - about 5
1/2 '', and had dark chocolate brown legs, and I thought it was likely a
Swainson's, but when I got back to my office and looked at a Swainson's in
the field guide I have at the office, the Swainson's in Peterson's doesn't
appear to have dark chocolate brown legs. Otherwise, it looks like a
Swainson's. Could it be a Swainson's?
Thanks,
Eleanor
