I noticed on the DE Listserve that Red Crossbills were reported at the Ashland
Nature Center in Hockessin, Delaware, which is about 10 miles from Cecil
County Maryland:

A"t the Ashland Hawk Watch, 6 RED CROSSBILLS were reported today. A peak
count of 27 PURPLE FINCH was reported on Wednesday. 10 EVENING
GROSBEAKS flew over there on Tuesday. PINE SISKIN, AMERICAN PIPIT, and
FOX SPARROW were also reported."

I was wondering if anyone could venture a guess as to specific places to look
for them in Maryland? Thank you in advance and please email me at
