    Made a short trip Sat  to Black Hill to see what waterfowl and land birds were about.
  Species seen:
   
  5 Pied Billed Grebes
  20 Canada Geese (more might have sheltered in coves)
  8 Buffleheads
  30+- American Coots
  40+ Ruddy Ducks
  2 unidentified duck sp.
  Turkey Vultures
  Juncos
  Chickadees
  Chipping Sparrows
  White thrt. Sparrows
  American Goldfinch
  Song Sparrow
   
  D. Ford/Bethesda
