I just hope no one was injured (too bad about the finch). Makes a great news
lead-in though.
So far this morning only 7 House Finches and two Gold. One of the GFs was
battling 4 HFs - reminded me of an old Bob Steel movie (the GF was holding
its own, if not winning).
A bit later, I was feeding some grubs to my Wrens and one of them started
looking up. I followed its gaze to a Coopers Hawk being pursued by a
squadron of finches.
Otherwise it's quiet...too quiet.
