Late this afternoon (around 4pm) while sitting on my bucket watching Jug Bay, I saw a Nighthawk flying leisurely southward.  I got it in my scope at 60x for about 3 minutes, and could see the wing patches from time to time, but never having seen a Lesser Nighthawk, I cannot comment as to the species.  The mind-boggling coincidence is that, in 2002 on this exact same date, I watched a Nighthawk fly the same route!!
