Hi Everyone,

Here is another long post from an exciting weekend on the Shore. Many
thanks to everyone involved with the Rarity Roundup for making it such a
fun and successful day (and weekend). Special thanks to Mark Hoffman and
Matt Hafner for organizing the event. Highlights for the weekend included
3-5 CAVE SWALLOWS north of the Assateague bridge and on South Point, 4
EURASIAN COLLARED-DOVEs at South Point, GAMBEL'S WHITE-CROWNED SPARROW at
Chesapeake Farms, Common Moorhen, American Avocet, Marbled Godwit, and the
many Pine Siskins. The Rarity Roundup weekend is always my favorite
birding weekend of the year.
