We also were very pleased to *finally* dip in on the "finch explosion" with a modest visit of a brownie Purple Finch and a single Pine Siskin this afternoon. The number of Goldfinches at our feeders, which had declined in the last week, was up again to peak capacity today so perhaps another "wave" of finchy visitors.

A Red-breasted Nuthatch also made a brief foray. We have have 1 of these off and on for some weeks, not the same bird.

Other than that, pretty much the same old...but fun to watch!
