Spent the early morning at Loch Raven White Pines Circuit with a quick stop at the picnic area and the bridge.

Highlights:
Merlin
Golden-Crowned Kinglet
Pine Siskin (heard only)
Green Winged Teal (1)
Several hundred scaup, individuals of both species present, didn't make a real survey, but lesser seemed to be more prevelant.
Horned Grebe

Odd Note: A small flock of bluebirds and goldfinches flew over, there was a single different species, larger than finches, rosy in color, appeared to be a purple finch, but giving a high buzzy call note, much like a waxwing. Any ideas?

None of the previously reported tundra swams or pintails.
