Rob,
   North Point State Park is located on the north side of the mouth of the Patapsco River opposite Fort Smallwood. Access from I-695 is via North Point Road through Edgemere (DeLorme 59C4). There is a non-fee area just before you reach Fort Howard. Jim Stasz ran a banding station there in 1976-7 near the mock Vietnamese village used for training during the war. I'm not sure exactly where Hank saw his Cave Swallow.
