A beautiful day for birdwatching today, so I stopped at Lake
Artemesia for a bit in the morning. Highlights included a
male BUFFLEHEAD, 2 male/female pairs of HOODED MERGANSERS,
lots of RING-NECKED DUCKS, 2 PILEATED WOODPECKERS, and 1
YELLOW-BELLIED SAPSUCKER (female). Full report below:
