Hi all,
 About 5 PM I went out to fetch some firewood and let the dog out,  when I 
heard the far off baying of swans. I quickly went in and grabbed my  binoculars, 
and scanned the eastern horizon. There, heading south in the  distance, was a 
large flock (60+) of Tundra Swans, lit up by the setting sun.  Finally, yard 
bird  #82!
 
And at the feeders this afternoon and for the past couple of days, the  
cardinals seem to be back in force, with at least 8 pairs.
