A rather dreary morning produced some nice birds at Triadelphia and
Centennial in HowCo today.

Greenbridge

HORNED GREBE - 2 against Howard side seen from pipeline
COMMON LOON - 1 retaining some alternate plumage, regrettably, well on the
MontCo side, seen from boat ramp
Ruddy Duck - 1 again, MontCo side
RED-BREASTED NUTHATCH - 1 calling from the conifers at the parking lot

Centennial

Pied-billed Grebe - 2
Ring-necked Duck - 29+ (all in one group, 7 counted elsewhere, but cannot
exclude that some or all may have snuck into this group)
REDHEAD - 2 male and female
CANVASBACK - 1 male
Hooded Merganser - 6
BONAPARTE'S GULL - 1 on the water, by the dam. Appeared adult.

Another birder said he saw some Bufflehead, but I could not find any.
