A couple of days ago, I saw a peregrine falcon perching on the same
snag on the Maryland side of the river as the peregrines perched on
last year.  There were two adult peregrines at and around the bridge
from about this time last year until about March, when they started to
work on the bridge and scared them away.  I have only seen one bird,
and only one time, but maybe the pair are back and we will actually get
a nesting on the upper Potomac for the first time in about 70years.  If
anyone sees the birds  or knows anything about  them,  please post to
the Osprey.
