Six snow buntings were on the lawn at the Pt. Lookout turnaround about 1 pm today. Large 
numbers of horned grebes, goldeneye, long-tailed duck and bufflehead. one pair surf 
scoters and two female white-winged scoter.  Several common loons and red-b 
mergansers.  Both brown-headed and red-breasted nuthatch (!) in picnic area.  Also walked 
into Elms Beach Park off of Bay Forest Road and spotted 5 bald eagles in the estuary and 
two great cormorants on big green channel marker.  Good birding.
