The Queenstown Sod Farm has hosted a whiteness of Tundra swans (around 100)
for the past 3 days.
BTW: an Internet search (Wikipedia) gave me these names for a bunch of
swans ... gaggle, wedge (when flying), bank, bevy, whiteness, gargle and
eyrar. I picked whiteness, although eyrar sounded interesting.
How about a 'wisp' of snipe or a 'doading' of sheldrakes?
