We didn't have a tally this year so the results aren't all in yet but my
personal highlights from todays count included 2 SHORT-EARED OWLS at the
Spray Fields (North Branch Allegany County) seen by Jim Green, Ray Kiddy
and myself, and a flyover Redpoll at the same location (me only or
possibly Jim too). I also had a SAW-WHET OWL respond to my tooting at
my house this morning at around 5:15 am (outside the count circle). I
also had a Harrier and lots of Tree Sparrows in the trout managment area
at the intersection of Maniford and Lower Town Creek Roads.
