I left work a little early this morning, and stopped by Burba Lake at Fort
Meade. I know it's restricted access for most people, but there might be a
couple of interested birders who work nearby. As soon as I parked, I got
great views of a BALD EAGLE being mobbed by crows. Lots of ducks were mixed
in the crowd of Canada Geese & Mallards to include a male WOOD DUCK, seven
RUDDY DUCKS, two AMERICAN COOT, and two COMMON GOLDENEYE. It was very birdy
today- lots of activity.

I have pictures of the Goldeneye and Ruddies, but not too pleased with them.
One Goldeneye is apparently 1st year, the other, adult male. Barrow's would
have been nice though ;)
Merry birding-
Matt Tillett
