The Northern Shrike was seen at Cromwell again today in the same area as Friday. It was
in the tangle of vines at the base of the second utility pole in the field to the right of the
Sherwood entrance- park just before bridge and head towards your right. The bird flew
between this point and the line of Sycamore trees along Sherwood drive, staying somewhat
low in the brush. Several photographers were clicking away, including Bill Hubick, so we
may see some photos posted later today. The time frame was from about 9:00 am to about
10:30 am until the bird disappeared, apparently laying low in the same area.
