Happy New Year MDOsprey...!!!

First non-Binoncular bird:  N Cardinal

First Binocular bird: H Finch...followed in rapid
sucession by Downey Woodpecker and Red-breasted
Nuthatch

First ground bird: Song Sparrow

First heard bird: A Goldfinch

Later sightings:
House, W-crowned (imm.), & W-throated Sparrows,
Goldfinch, Red-bellied Woodpecker, Crow, & (probably)
starling.

Wind starting to pick up here at 10 am.

As suggested my hummingbird feeder has remained up but
unvisited these last several months; today it will be
retired until warm weather returns.
