See Life Paulagics is running an offshore pelagic trip on Saturday,
Feb. 23 for winter seabirds. This has been a prime time of year for
finding Dovekies in the past, with last year producing an unprecedent
count of nearly 4,300! Other past trips at this time of year found
170 in '04 and 581 in '05.

We also have a reasonable chance of finding Fulmar, Red Phalarope,
Razorbill, Dovekie, Atlantic Puffin, Common Murre, Northern Gannet,
Kittiwake and other gulls, whales, and dolphins. There's even a
possibility of a Great Skua or Thick-billed Murre. We plan on
visiting both Delaware and Maryland waters.

The boat is the 85' Thelma Dale IV, a fast, comfortable boat with a
full walk-around, birdable upper deck, heated cabin with lots of
benches, and separate men's and women's heads. The trip will run from
6:00 AM to about 6:00 PM, and the cost is $145.
