I too spent this morning at Pt. Lookout State Park in St. Mary's Co. In
addition to the King Eider and the very photogenic Eared Grebe, I saw 5
Brown Pelicans, 1 Northern Gannet, 1 Osprey, 1 Northern Harrier, 1
Forster's Tern, 1 Am. Woodcock, 3-5 Hairy Woodpeckers, 2 Winter Wrens, all
three nuthatches, Brown Creeper, a flock of 8+ Fox Sparrows, and 2 Meadow
Larks in a field just north of the park.
I posted one picture of the Eared Grebe, but more is yet to come:
