Hi All,

I got out this morning to look for the Northern Shrike reported yesterday by Ray Kiddy, no luck there, but I did have a flyover COMMON REDPOLL! Other birds at Finzel included a few AMERICAN ROBINS, RUSTY BLACKBIRDS, and AMERICAN TREE SPARROWS. I then headed south and had a flock of AMERICAN GOLDFINCHES with on PINE SISKIN at feeders along Beall School Road, also in the area was one light-phase ROUGH-LEGGED HAWK. I then headed towards Russell Road where I met up with J.B. Churchill, we birded around and had one flock of AMERICAN TREE SPARROWS that easily held 30 individuals as well as a few EASTERN BLUEBIRDS. We headed back to Finzel where we had a large flock of AMERICAN ROBINS (~50) and RUSTY BLACKBIRDS (14) fly in, but no shrike.

Good Birding!
