First thing this morning I went to Dan's Rock. I climbed up to
photograph the sunset which turned out to be a good idea. A RED
CROSSBILL fly right over my head calling while I was setting up my
tripod. The rest of the morning was pretty average by comparison though
I did have a nice flock of 30 Wild Turkeys and after Mikey Lutmerding
met me at Russell Road, I managed to find and photograph (from the car)
a RUFFED GROUSE that was perched in a tree right next to the road. I'll
try and post the grouse photos later at photos.jbchurchill.com.
Best,
J.B.
