I did a late-morning walk of the Kingsley Trail sector of Little Bennett
Regional park in Montgomery County on Sunday the 13th of January. During
my walk a pair of very active Common Ravens flew back and forth across
the valley and adjacent ridges making quite a racket, in what looked to
me like some sort of territorial establishment behavior. I assume these
are birds that were raised on the cliffs of Sugarloaf, not far off to
the west. I wonder where they could find appropriate cliff nesting
habitat in Little Bennett?
