I'm happy to report that a male RED-BREASTED NUTHATCH
continues to visit our feeders in Laurel (PG County) -- I've
only missed him a couple times during weekly FeederWatch
counts that started in mid-November. Are others still
seeing this species regularly?

Less frequent, but still regular, is a YELLOW-BELLIED
SAPSUCKER (female; sometimes a male shows up too).

No signs of the siskins and Purple Finches of late last
year.

Good birding!

D

P.S. COOPER'S HAWK is fairly regular now too. And feral
cats unfortunately. :(
