Yesterday was my day in the field to change sample bottles in automated stream samplers. One of the samplers is off of Cumberstone Rd. (off Muddy Creek Rd. south of 214). Though this is government property and not open to the public I thought I'd mention that there was a flock of about 30 American Pipits amongst the corn stubble. This is the habitat that I've personally found to be most productive for finding pipits. There are other fields along Cumberstone Rd. that can be viewed from the road.
