Location: South Hagerstown

Observation date: 1/26/08

Notes: Two types of habitat: first portion suburban, second portion
woods/fields. Suburban portion was the walk down from First Street along S.
Potomac to Oak Ridge Drive. Canada Geese were located at the Review &
Herald pond. Second portion of walk was back through Doub Woods. That's
where I saw the most variety (no surprise). Surprised to see so many
Northern Cardinals when I haven't seen many in my neighborhood. Also had
American Robins as well as the variety of woodpeckers in the Doub Woods
park. More species heard there that I could not identify. Certainly
nothing dramatic or amazing, but I was curious what birds I have closer to
home.
