At Kenilworth Aquatic Gardens this morning, I saw a brown thrasher and a gray catbird on the River Trail. Other birds of note were juncos, white throated sparrows, swamp sparrow, yellow-bellied sapsucker, hermit thrush, ruby-crowned kinglets, yellow-rumped warblers, pileated woodpecker, and sharp-shinned and red-shouldered hawks. The only ducks were mallards. There was a flock of 250+ robins feeding on berries at the entrance and behind and adjacent to the visitors' center. A good variety of birds for a cold morning.
