Hi all, on February 9th the Cecil County Bird Club is holding its annual Mid-winter Bird Count. This is a census of all birds in Cecil County. You can count in your choice of locations in the county, if you contact me for assignments early. Count for Full Day or as much as you can. Count alone or ask your friends and family to join you, or ask me and I can set you up with an experienced counter. Feeder watchers or single locations also welcome - count in your own backyard or at your favorite birding hangout. Start as early as you can and count as late as you can. Help us document the birds that depend on our county to survive the winter.
Please contact me by email or by cell phone 410-808-1427
Some areas are already taken but many are still open.
Availability right now still exists for Perryville, some areas in North East and Charlestown, some areas in Elkton, Chesapeake City and Cecil.
