We tried birding the Asquithview trail area and managed to find the right feeders and a couple of birders (first Kathy and then Dan). Dan had us going because before he appeared from beyond the bamboo, he played a call of a painted bunting. We did not manage to see the bunting while we were there. Then Dan led David and I out to Greenbury Point.
