Phil and others,
I'm not sure how this would affect things but for the record ... my
personal database shows that the Northern Shrike that I saw repeatedly
at Asseateague Island in 1996 while I stayed at the Hungerford House (on
Assateague) was seen on 1/14/96, 1/22, 2/10, 2/17, 3/20, and 3/23/96. I
remembered somebody telling me that 3/23 was far and away the latest
date because I wrote in my database "latest MD record to date !!! (N of
DC 14)". N of DC14 simply means that it was seen north of Dune Crossing 14.
