During my daily walk yesterday morning (Tuesday), I ran across a small 
gathering (flock, gaggle, murder???) of Chipping Sparrows, somewhere between 
20 and 25.  They have not been there all winter, or I would have noticed 
them.
I also had 2 female Purple Finches show up at the feeders yesterday 
afternoon.
