I stopped on the Calvert side of the Patuxent River yesterday on my way home from work. The Red-necked Grebe, found by Warren and Lisa Strobel on Saturday, was still there. It was just off the end of the piers at the boat ramp.

BTW, I saw a Peregrine Falcon fly by last week while I was driving across the Solomons bridge from St. Mary's into Calvert. With luck, there will be another nest there this year!
