What's funny about this is that after Matt and I were discussing the Patagonia Picnic Table Effect (or the hope for one, with all the new birders at Ft. Smallwood yesterday), I walked away to take some shots of the waterfowl on the bay. As I approached the last picnic table before the water, the two Redpolls jumped up from the grass and perched very helpfully on the picnic table for me, allowing some great shots.
 
With Matt's blessing, I'd like to dub that table the "Patagonia" table at Ft. Smallwood... ;)
