To follow-up on JB's and Paul's posts on the pelagic trip on Saturday, below are links to my photos - none too great, though I have included some gannet action shots, even though they don't meet my rare birds critieria...

After looking at these, I think it likely the whiter male is a second winter bird, not quite a full adult, but too much black on the head and wing coverts to be a full adult.


I would highly recommend a winter pelagic trip to all!
