Perhaps Bill could hang out a Thistle sock in the park and call me when the
bird starts to frequent it. Maybe Noah could lend him on of his now that
his White-winged Crossbill has switch to Black Oil Sunflower seed. Myself
and another birder froze our bunds off yesterday morning and no Common
Redpoll. Maybe it had more sense then we did in that nasty weather.
No Common Eider at OC inlet once again. A nice crab eating first winter
Herring Gull.
I did get distant Dunlin images (#144 for the year) at the currently being
remodeled Eagles Nest complex. It looks like the tailor park is being
converted to Toll Brothers type homes. I hope we can still get in after the
new structures are completed.
