We were happy to have a RED-BREASTED NUTHATCH show up
briefly during our last FeederWatch, March 1. Prior to that
we hadn't seen one for about 2 weeks. But on March 1, and
again yesterday, we had a YELLOW-BELLIED SAPSUCKER and
RUBY-CROWNED KINGLET hanging out together. Fun to watch!
The birds are getting frisky: Downys, nuthatches, chickadees
chasing each other. And don't get me started about the
squirrels...
