The swans are certainly on the move. This morning at about 9:30 there was a single flock of about 200 swans flying north over the Audubon office at Patterson park in Baltimore.

Hi all,
 One of my favorite signs of spring occurred this morning around 9 AM,  right
over my head. I was doing some work outside of my shop when I heard the
unmistakable "whoo-whoo" of Tundra Swans from somewhere above. Finally I located
the flock (about 50 birds) high above me and right over the yard, in a huge
beautiful white V, looking like a compass needle, and heading due north!

Nothing beats that for an uplifting start to a beautiful (early) spring  day!
