Hi All,
I got done with some field work early and decided to check Dan's Rock to see what was flying. Within 10 minutes of arriving I saw and digiscoped one adult GOLDEN EAGLE flying north, followed by another within 7 minutes of the first. I then got a call about some TUNDRA SWANS at Piney Reservoir, so I headed down that way where there were some other nice birds including 2 RICHARDSON'S CACKLING GEESE. More or less complete lists follow-
Dan's Rock Overlook
GOLDEN EAGLE 2 adults
Red-shouldered Hawk 1
Red-tailed Hawk 5
Turkey Vulture ~28
Black Vulture 8
Piney Reservoir
Tundra Swan 31
Canada Goose ~200
RICHARDSON'S CACKLING GOOSE 2
American Wigeon 2
Wood Duck 7
Mallard ~20
