Hello all.

Had over 300 Tundra Swans fly over at Fort Smallwood this morning; also
picked up a couple of Horned Grebes there.

This evening, I birded the Kembo Road area, counting blackbirds and looking
for whatever else might be there:

Highlights:

Pied-billed Grebe: 1
Ring-necked Duck: 6
Hooded Merganser: 2
Turkey Vulture: 2
Gray Catbird: 1 In brush by 1st water impoundment
European Starling: 300+
Eastern Towhee: 4
Fox Sparrow: 1 Really nice looks at it
Brown-headed Cowbird: 150+
Red-winged Blackbird: 1750+ several flyovers toward roost
Common Grackle: 4900+ several flyovers toward roost
