This morning, March 11, while riding Metro's Yellow Line from the Pentagon 
to L'Enfant Plaza, I saw a single Osprey on the longstanding nest on the 
railroad bridge over the Potomac River.

I did not see the Peregrine Falcon that I have frequently seen on that 
bridge in the winter months. The falcons tend to vacate that bridge once 
Ospreys begin to nest on it.
