fishing and birding at Shad Landing SP ( long )

On Monday while trout fishing at Shad Landing,  I saw a  Cooper Hawk chase a 
Pileated Woodpecker around the pond. The  Pileated  was to fast for the Cooper 
and got away. other birds I saw at Shad  Landing,

27 Tufted Titmice
15 Brown headed Nuthatches 
4 Red breasted Nuthatches
6 White breasted Nuthatches
8 Eastern Bluebirds
5 Pine Siskins
1 Purple Finch
30+ Cedar Waxwings
5 Pileated Woodpecker
4 Downey Woodpecker
2 Red bellied Woodpeckers
1 House Wren
3 Winter Wrens
6 Carolina Wrens
4 Ruby crowned Kinglets 
5 Golden crowned Kinglets 
3 Bald Eagles
5 Red shouldered Hawks
40+ Turkey Vultures
17 Black Vultures 
fish caught 0
fish seen,

Tuesday I went Trout fishing and hiking at shad  landing. at the entrance to 
the park I saw a flock of 25+ Chipping Sparrows  mixed in with Juncos.  other 
birds I saw,
1 Laughing Gull ( at the boat portage)
17 Pine Warblers 
13 Ruby crowned Kinglets
7 Golden crowned Kinglets
16 Carolina Chickadee
4 Carolina Wren
2 Winter Wren 
4 Hermit Thrush 
9 Tufted Titmice
1 Boat tailed Grackle

27+ Redwing blackbirds
17 Gold Finches
14 House Finches
29+ Yellow rumped Warblers
13 White throated Sparrows
3 White crowned Sparrows

Rainbow Trout ( jumping at newly hatched fly's )

Yellow Perch  
last week was better with trout. I caught 12 trout for the week ( Monday 5,  
Wednesday 5, Thursday 2 )
Yesterday I birded at Milburn landing and saw the following birds
