I bring this up because it is now just before 6:30 in the evening, the winds

 north.

Ed, and all,
My wife and I were driving into Westminster last night around this time,
and (as she was driving) I was watching the skies off to my right (east). We
were on Rt. 97 just north of Rt. 32 when I started seeing lots of Canada Geese
in Vee's way up in the sky, heading North. While we were in traffic we
must've seen close to 1000 heading off. Quite a spectacle to see, especially if
you're stuck in traffic!
