I heard and saw my first-of-season Osprey at Hances Point this afternoon.
The bird was up high, displaying and calling, just before the clouds blew in.

I made a quick stop at Turkey Point after that, but didn't go past the first
patch of woods. I heard an Osprey there, too, as I walked past the cliffs
by the parking lot. The cliffs look pretty bad, with fresh erosion visible and
big cracks in the sand along the edge. Further in, where the grasses come
up to the cliff top, it looks much more stable, but I'd be very cautious about
standing close to the bare edge right by the lot.

I heard a very high-pitched "see-see-see-see," but I didn't see what
made the sound.
Golden-crowned Kinglet? Surely it's too soon for Cape May Warbler?
But it's not too soon for Pine Warbler, which I am fairly sure is
what I saw there
today in the far trees on the river side: bright lime-green breast,
with some streaks,
and a gray back with wing bars. It was too far for me to see any
facial details, though.
There were at least two of them out there, my first warblers of the
season. It's spring!
