Hi all, Parke and I spent the day around Caimbridge yesterday, we went from Blackwater to Hooper's Island, then to Caimbridge and then over to Elliott's Island Road.
I think we ended up with just over 80 species for the day. Highlights were Eastern Phoebe on Elliott's Island Road, Pine Warblers every where, Wood Ducks near Black Water, Tree Swallows, 8 White Pelicans, Bonaparte's Gull, Forsters Terns, Ospreys at Black Water, American Oystercatchers on the Honga River, with both Yellow legs species and Dunlin in most locations. Greater Yellow legs were the more common of the Yellow legs.
Since we are finishing up with the winter Ducks over the next few weeks, I put together a smorgasbord of Duck photos I took yesterday and some were taken over the winter.
Enjoy.
