After that we decided to go to the Hammerman Area of Gunpowder SP,?? but got side-lined by a sign that read "Marshy Creek Nature Center" and decided to take a peak.? This is a new area in the Baltimore County Park System on the south side of Dundee Creek.? It is under development and has a planned extensive trail system.? One set of trails will connect to the Hammerman Area of Gunpowder Falls SP and another will go out Marshy Point to give views onto Chesapeake Bay!??For those who want to look for marsh birds like Marsh Wren, Least Bittern and rails, I suspect this will become the location of choice for Baltimore County.? Here is the URL for their website:? ?http://www.marshypoint.org/

I have added this to eBird Hotspots in Maryland and hope that you will visit and add your sightings.
