Rock Creek Park has issued a proposed "Wireless Telecommunications Plan "  
for cell phone facilities in the Park  This policy plan has three  alternatives. 
 Their  "Preferred Alternative " calls for allowing 30  foot poles along 
Beach Drive and secondary roads, in order to provide good "in  car" coverage.
 
Since most of us do not want any more huge towers in the Park. it is  
important to study the alternatives, testify at the hearing March 27 (Nature  Center 
7:30 pm) and submit written comments by April 14.
