Spent Friday afternoon exploring the shores of the Susquehanna River from
Conowingo Dam to Rock Run Mill.

Conowingo: Generating w/75% spillways open (a mild torrent of H2O)

Bald Eagle 20+
Great Blue Heron 75 - 100, mostly on the heronry, neck plume feathers really
standing out as spectacular
gulls - few, Ring-billed and 2 Great Black-backed

Susquehanna SP (at the mouth of Deer Creek)

Common Goldeneye 4
Common Merganser 14
Double-crested Cormorant 3

Wildflowers: Harbinger-of-Spring (blooming, about 10% out), Virginia bluebells
(leafed out 1 - 3", a few budding heads)
Lepids: Morning Cloak, Commas
Frogs: Wood frogs (partying like its 1969)

Rock Run Mill

Eastern Phoebe 1

Frogs: Wood Frogs, Spring Peepers, and a single chorus frog.

Well the plan was to get to Lapidum and Havre de Grace, but this was as far
as I got.
